We had an exceptional stay at the Alpine Motel in Wanaka. The location couldn't be better, just a short walk to the lakefront, cafes, and shops, yet quiet enough to relax and enjoy the stunning alpine views. The facilities were spotless and well-maintained, offering everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay, including spacious rooms, great amenities, and excellent parking.

The hosts were absolutely fantastic, warm, welcoming, and genuinely interested in making sure our stay was perfect. Their local recommendations made all the difference, and the personal touches throughout the motel showed how much they care about their guests.

This was a last minute booking! And it did not disappoint. Great location. Parking was easy! Facilities were clean and spacious. Lovely warm room during a cold night. Shower was lovely! Bathroom was spacious. Service was great! They even gave us fresh milk which we appreciated. The whole experience was great. Great price too! Happy to go back to!

We've stayed three times at the Alpine Motels, and they would be our first choice on another trip to Wanaka. We found the units clean and comfortable, and they were surprisingly quiet. The proximity to the centre of town was a bonus. The friendliness and helpfulness of the proprietors were outstanding.
